APPLICATIONS

Candidates must have a degree in Science (Physics or Chemistry), Engineering, or equivalent. The academic commission of the Master will evaluate the record of each candidate and may recognize the credits of courses already taken on similar subjects. Education or experience obtained in other courses taken on topics related with the field of Nanoscience may be also recognized.

Deadlines:

Preregistration is closed for the course 2011-2012: The deadline for pre-registration in postgraduate programs at the University of the Basque Country was May 31th, 2011. You can make it ON LINE. Follow this link (in Spanish) to it and to to check the rules and documents required. Please, note that you must send the documents to the secretary of the master (info@mscnano.eu). If you don’t speak spanish, please fill in the pre-registration form and send it with the required documents to info@mscnano.eu.

Follow this link to check admission requirements and procedure (and this link to see a summary in English) and contact info@mscnano.eu if you need any further assistance. A brief CV, including credits awarded and grades obtained at undergraduate level should be also sent to info@mscnano.eu, as well as any other merits considered as relevant for the application. Foreign applicants are requested to send also a copy of their passport.

Regular enrollment in the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU for the Master’s in Nanoscience will be opened in September. Later enrollments may be accepted only under special circumstances.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Public Institutions

The University of the Basque Country, the Basque Government, and the Spanish Government have opened several Calls to provide financial support for students enrolling in Master’s Programs. Although some documentation is in Spanish, most of the Calls are opened for students of any nationality. Please find a (partial) list of the Calls in this web address

DIPC

In addition to the grant programs offered by several public institutions to cover MSc courses, there exists a specific program for the Master’s in Nanoscience, supported by the DIPC . It includes partial support for travelling, enrollment fees and local expenses. Further information about this program will be posted soon at this web page.  

UPV/EHU
