The teaching period of the next academic year will start in October 2010 and will end in June 2011. A personal academic advisor will assist to each student in the choice of courses and in ensuring that the program can be finished successfully within two years. As a general rule, during the first year the student is expected to devote most of the time to follow the compulsory courses while the second year activity will be mainly focused on the research work (Master thesis) and few elective courses.
Students are required to complete the individualized two-year program with 60 ECTS credits to be granted a Master's degree in Nanoscience (MSc). See the link 'Program' below for the full listing of courses.
Students can apply for Credit Transfer from other courses followed in the past. Credit transfer applications have to include all necessary information about the courses. The application form is available here in PDF format and here in MSWord format.
Morning lectures will take place in Multimedia Room II (floor -1) of Korta Building. Afternoon lectures will take place in Classroom 7 of the Chemistry Faculty. Timetables of the lectures can be found in this file.
Additional information on the Program features and on the enrollment process can be obtained in the web of the Basque Country University UPV/EHU. Please check this page for a summary of the Master's Program, and this page for further information.
